# I need help updating the Skyrim Together Reborn mod

## Q: I need help upgrading/updating the Skyrim Together Reborn mod

### I use ModOrganizer2 (MO2)

1. Open MO
2. Find the `Skyrim Together Reborn` mod
3. Right-click and select `Remove Mod...`
4. Confirm that the `SkyrimTogetherReborn` folder is gone from these two folders:\
   `C:\Modding\MO2\mods`\
   `C:\Modding\MO2\overwrite`
5. Go to [NexusMods](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/69993?tab=files) and install the newest version, by using the `Mod Manager Download`.
6. Go to the `Downloads` tab in MO2
7. Install the newly downloaded `Skyrim Together Reborn` mod, by right-clicking and pressing `Install`
8. As per usual, select `OK` and then `Ignore`.
9. Now you have the latest version installed.

### I use Vortex Mod Manger (VMM)

1. Open Vortex/VMM
2. Go to the `Mods` tab
3. Find `Skyrim Together Reborn`
4. Select `Remove`, and then select `Remove Mod` and `Delete Archive`
5. The notification bell will show a `Deploy` notification - press the `Deploy` button.
6. Go to this folder, and **confirm** the `SkyrimTogetherReborn` folder has been deleted:\
   `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data`
7. If the folder **hasn't** been deleted, then delete it manually before continuing.
8. Go to [NexusMods](https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/69993?tab=files) and install the newest version, by using the `Mod Manager Download`.
9. Vortex will automatically install the newest version for you.
10. Now you have the latest version installed.
